Cello, flute and piano teacher in Surbiton
I am a very gentle and friendly teacher, and have a genuine love for what I do. I believe that music learning should be a positive experience right from the beginning. I teach beginner, intermediate and advanced pupils. I teach from home in my music studio in Surbiton. I charge £20.00 for 30 minutes, £30 for 45 minutes and £35.00 for an hour. I have been playing music ever since I was five years old and have always known that music is the career for me. I played in youth orchestras while I was young and then, whilst studying music at university, I played a number of concerts. I played in a folk band for ten years and I did a lot of composing as well as many gigs. I currently play in a local orchestra and we perform regularly. I work in a professional composing duo and we have had many compositions on television programmes and short films. I have been teaching for nearly twenty years, privately and for a number of years in schools.
