Hugely experienced educator/player with excellent track record.
I have worked as a full time professional musician since 2001, and in 2002 was voted runner up in the ‘Guitarist of the Year’ competition run by Guitarist magazine. In that time, I have worked on a multitude of projects from independent artists to Grammy award winners and record companies, as well as on radio and TV themes and soundtracks, both here and in the US.
Since 2004 I have been working extensively in the music education sector, having taught one to one beginner guitarists, through to students at all ages and levels of music education, including degree and MMus at BIMM and London College Of Music, with many students now working professionally as teachers or performing in major touring acts/social media figures, forging their own path in music.

I have worked as an hourly paid lecturer at both Bmus and Mmus levels on the Popular music and Jazz programmes.
Deputy Head Of Guitar/Senior Lecturer BIMM London: 10/2005 – Present
I have taught extensively at all levels from 2005 (when the college was still Tech Music Schools) and in 2010 was appointed Deputy Head Of Guitar.
As well as teaching practical classes on guitar technique and stylistic playing, I have also been involved in Live Performance Workshops, coaching and assessing student bands for performance.
Throughout my time here I have been responsible for writing and structuring a large amount of the guitar course material.
I have also been a Module Leader and Workshop Leader on numerous modules on the Bmus Programme.

I have been on the teaching faculty for the International Guitar Foundation and have written and delivered the Rock Level 3 course for 2007 – 2010 at their annual summer school teaching students from 7 to 70.
Brighton Institute Of Modern Music 04/2004 – 08/2005
I taught on the Diploma and Higher Diploma course as well as the Ba Hons
course validated by Sussex University.
I was the Module Leader for “Professional Musicianship” and was responsible for examining at all levels on the Degree course.
