Experienced Teacher for Drum Kit, Percussion, Beginner Piano and Music theory

I started my musical studies at 4 years old at the Porto Orff Institute and then moved on to Porto’s Conservatoire in the Percussion class. During this time I played in numerous concerts ranging from Classical and Symphonic Orchestras to Jazz Orchestras/Combos and Chamber groups.

Having had lessons with some of Porto’s most prolific musicians, I went on to do my Bachelor’s degree in London at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM).

I’ve played in projects of wide-ranging genres, from Jazz (and sub-genres like free jazz) to Electronic and even Indie Rock.

Next year I will continue my studies with a Master’s in teaching. I’ve been teaching for 8 years now and whilst studying in London I had students from all age groups.

I’ve taught Percussion, Drum Kit (all styles), Piano for beginner and intermediate students and Music Theory (including harmony, ear training and other topics the student might want to be covered).
