Cello and strings teacher in London
My aim as a teacher is to encourage my students whilst creating a love for music-making!
I have experience teaching at various levels, whether it is beginner/intermediate/amateur or advanced level. I can assist with ABRSM Practical Exams on Violin, Viola, cello and piano (the latter up to Grade 5), as well as Theory (up to Grade 5).
I enjoy teaching in a style that fits an individuals needs, and have taught in various schools in London. I am fully DBS checked. I’ve completed a BMus (Hons) Classical Music Degree and I passed my Grade 8 on Cello and Violin with High Distinction.
I’ve led several orchestras throughout my life. When I was younger I gained a music scholarship to St Teresa’s School, age 11. I am currently in a string and piano duo/trio – we play at weddings and events around the country. As a session player, I have performed in venues across Europe such as a Prom at The Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury Festival and at the World Economic Forum in Davos. I am also a media composer and have written music for film and adverts.
